The 90s TV Shows

Beavis and Butt-Head

Beavis and Butt-Head is an animated MTV series that has been on the air from 1993-1997 and revived in 2011. Beavis and Butt-Head are two teenage heavy metal fans that are always getting bored. Their boredom prompts the two to engage in idiotic activities and pranks. For Beavis and Butt-Head, everything is either “cool” or else it “sucks”, and this reflects the often times simplistic outlook of teenagers towards the tedium of daily realities.

The highly successful show was created by Mike Judge who is also the voice of Beavis as well as Butt-Head in the show. Mike Judge is well know for being the creator of King of The Hill in addition to Beavis and Butt-Head.

Beavis and Butt-Head live in Texas, apparently have no adult supervision, and spend their time making fun of music videos, reality TV, the Internet, and Ultimate Fighting. In essence, they are represented as being dumb want-to-be delinquents.
