Joe Boxer began as an underwear company and was created by Nicholas Graham. It was founded in 1985 and its main focus was to take the main principles of men’s clothing and remake it to reflect humor, popular trends, and of course fashion.
Joe Boxer were the pioneers of low hanging pants to show off their underwear. This instantly gave them credibility and popularity, making them the cool underwear to own. They’ve since expanded into women’s and children’s clothing as well as other merchandise.
In 2001, they were facing bankruptcy and were sold to Windsong Alliance and in 2005, Iconix bought Joe Boxer and still own it today. Their products are exclusively sold at Kmart and Sears.
