The 90s TV Shows

Power Rangers

Power Rangers is a very popular children’s television show that debuted on August 28, 1993 and is still airing new episodes today! It was first produced by Saban Entertainment, then BVS Entertainment, and now by SCG Power Rangers LLC.

The premise of the show was a group of teenagers would be recruited by an alien named Zordon in order to defeat evil forces. In Might Morphin Power Rangers, Zordon gave each recruit their own dinosaur power, which corresponded with their uniform when they morphed as well as their giant robot dinosaurs called Zords. When the rangers morphed, they wore skintight, brightly-colored outfits and helmets with visors. Their Zords could also combine together to make the ultra-powerful Megazord.

There have been 17 differently titled Power Rangers series, and they’ve even turned out two movies: Might Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie and Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie. In addition, there are Power Ranger trading cards as well as three video games.

Even though the show was initially looked down upon because it was targeted for children and violent in nature, but it’s popularity cannot be denied as they are still pumping out Power Rangers episodes to this day!
