Kimmy Gibbler was a character on the popular TV show Full House. The actress, Andrea Barber, played the part of Kimmy. Andrea played the part from 1987 to 1995, playing D.J. Tanner’s awkward best friend.
Kimmy Gibbler had a reoccurring role from season one to four and then had a permanent role in the series for the remaining seasons. The Tanner family found Kimmy to be the annoying next-door neighbor. She would interrupt meals, come into the house without an invitation, and always found some sort of trouble to get her or others in.
Her character was portrayed as ‘ditzy’, never really realizing the consequences to her actions. She dressed slightly different at times, always creating her own style and not caring what other people thought. She was also not the brightest kid in school, always receiving below average grades.
However, some of the members of the Tanner family could never deny her or get mad at her, always giving her the benefit of the doubt. After Full House ended, Andrea began to focus on her personal life. She decided to go to college and started her own family. Reportedly, she still remains friends with many of her cast-mates that were on the hit show, Full House.
